Refund Policy

Overview

OwlPath is a trading name of Forge Gate Limited, company number 17196398, registered in England and Wales. This policy explains your rights regarding refunds for OwlPath subscriptions.

Free trial

Pro plan subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Your payment card is collected at signup but no charge is made until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial period ends, you will not be charged. No refund is needed because no payment has been taken.

Statutory right to cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service subscription from the date of purchase — unless you have already begun using the service.

By actively using OwlPath features after subscribing (for example, running an analysis, generating a cover letter, or accessing CV coaching), you acknowledge that you have requested immediate access to the service and that your 14-day statutory cancellation right may no longer apply.

If you have not used any paid features after subscribing, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial charge by contacting us at billing@owl-path.com.

General refund policy

Outside of the statutory rights described above, subscription fees are non-refundable. When you cancel a paid subscription:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You retain full access to paid features until that date
• No partial refund is issued for unused days in the billing period
• Your plan reverts to Free at the end of the billing period

Billing errors

If you believe you have been charged in error — for example, charged after cancellation or charged an incorrect amount — contact us within 30 days at billing@owl-path.com and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly. Confirmed billing errors will be refunded in full.

How to request a refund

To request a refund where applicable, email us at billing@owl-path.com with:

• Your registered email address
• The date of the charge
• The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
